Frequently Asked Questions:

How much do you charge for a photo shoot?

That really depends on the shoot. An all day fashion shoot for a magazine is completely different from a high school senior portrait. Send me an email and we can talk about it. My prices are very reasonable.

Do you travel for shoots?

Yes and no. If you need someone to shoot a surf event in Hawaii and it’s all expenses paid, I’m your man. If you want me to shoot penguins in the antarctic on my own dime, I might have a scheduling conflict that day. As a general rule, if it’s in the Houston area, it shouldn’t be a problem.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot Canon digital cameras and lenses almost exclusively. I also use Calumet Travelites, Nova and Chimera softboxes and Quantum Turbo batteries.

Do you sell the rights to your images?

Usually no.

Do you provide high-res images to clients?

Commercial clients yes. Portrait clients no, but I can provide low-res images if you want to email them to friends and family, use them on your webpage or facebook profile or that sort of thing.

How long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been taking pictures since I was a teenager, but professional I’ve been shooting for 6 years.

What kind of computer do you use?

I use both Macs and PCs. Both get the job done equally well.

Do you retouch photos?

YES! I’m highly proficient in Photoshop and have retouched professionally.

Can I ask you about shooting….?

Please do! Just use the contact form and I’ll get back to you shortly.
