Frequently Asked Questions:

How much do you charge for a photo shoot?

That really depends on the shoot. An all day fashion shoot for a magazine is completely different from a high school senior portrait. Send me an email and we can talk about it. My prices are very reasonable.

Do you travel for shoots?

Yes and no. If you need someone to shoot a surf event in Hawaii and it’s all expenses paid, I’m your man. If you want me to shoot penguins in the antarctic on my own dime, I might have a scheduling conflict that day. As a general rule, if it’s in the Houston area, it shouldn’t be a problem.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot Canon digital cameras and lenses almost exclusively. I also use Calumet Travelites, Nova and Chimera softboxes and Quantum Turbo batteries.

Do you sell the rights to your images?

Usually no.

How long have you been a photographer?

I’ve been taking pictures since I was a teenager, but professionally I’ve been shooting and assisting on large commercial shoots since 2003.

Do you still assist other photographers?

Yes. I have very dear friends in the photography industry and I’m honored whenever they need my help.

What kind of computer do you use?

I use both Macs and PCs. Both get the job done equally well.

Do you retouch photos?

YES! I’m highly proficient in Photoshop and retouch professionally.

Do you retouch photos for other photographers?

YES! If you have a freelance retouching need, I’d love to talk to you about it.

Can I ask you about shooting….?

Please do! Just use the contact form and I’ll get back to you shortly.
